David Hershberger
Owner and Head Coach
St Joe Bucks Football was founded in 2020 by Coach Hersh, a seasoned football coach with over five years of experience in high school football. With four years of semi-pro football under his belt, Coach Hersh brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for the game to the table. Our team is dedicated to giving local athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills and giving back to the community. Coach Hersh has lead the Bucks through two undefeated seasons and an MRFL Championship.

Daniel Sanders III
Defensive Coordinator
Coach Sanders has been with the St Joe Bucks since 2021, and we consider ourselves lucky to have him. Although he was not blessed to play, he studies the game like no other. This makes him an excellent coach who can identify and develop talent in players. His expertise in managing our team's defensive game has been a tremendous asset to our game strategy. Outside of coaching, Sanders also works for Apple as a Technical Support Advisor and is a freelance Video Producer, Cinematographer, and Video Editor . He is married to Standup Comedian and Social Influencer Elisabeth Wykert and they share two beautiful daughters.

Owner and Cheer Head Cpoach
Most players refer to her as Momma Mak, the co-owner of the Bucks football team and the proud wife of our head coach David Hershberger. With over three years of experience as a Head high school softball coach, five years coaching various sports, and being a former athlete, she has seen firsthand the incredible impact that sports can have on individuals and communities. Mak believes in the power of being part of something bigger than ourselves, and that's why she dedicates her time and effort to supporting and owning the Bucks. She and her husband make a great team! Join them in embracing the power of sports, fostering a sense of community, and making lifelong connections.

From creating our schedules to designing our graphics, Katie is involved in every aspect of our team's operations. Providing critical support both on and off the field, her exceptional organizational skills ensure that everything runs smoothly. Katie offers support to our coaches and players, ensuring that they have everything they need to develop and grow. Katie's talent as our team photographer and editor ensures we have high-quality content to share with our fans. Our staff does whatever it takes to make sure Bucks Football is exceptional.

The St Joe Bucks Football team is proud to have Bucky as our mascot. While their true identity may be a secret, their actions and energy are what keep our fans engaged and excited throughout the games. Bucky is always at the forefront of team spirit, leading the crowd and encouraging players both on and off the field. Their antics and high-flying acrobatics make even the loudest cheerleaders look tame.
